The clients for this project are a couple trading up to a large 4 bedroom house in an exclusive estate. The building is in the early stages of construction and the clients were keen to get the Interior Designer, on board from the start. They wanted to start with the design of the Kitchen / Dining / Utility area first and that is the work I represent in this piece.
The clients had no specific style preferences and they were open to ideas and concepts for the design. The only specific request was that space works functionally and is comfortable and suited to the lifestyle of the family.
Kitchen / Dining area is South orientated and receives a lot of light through the day and the blue pallet was favoured for these rooms. Wooden furniture and hardwood floor in the dining area bring balance in the interior and softened the coldness of the blue. Selected furniture are in contemporary style complemented with florally patterned textiles caring a pinch of a classic making this interior a bit eclectic. The notion is emphasised with the floating glass lighting form the Italian manufacturer “Artemide”.
The kitchen in gallery shape has a big and comfortable working area. The worktop is made of quartz stone a highly durable material easy for cleaning and maintaining.
Breakfast bar on the kitchen island allows quick snack or someone to keep company when others cook.
